POSITION:

FRONT HOUSE TEAM (PART-TIME)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Front of House team is to support the Restaurant Manager and other team members in delivering the highest level of customer experience during service periods in the restaurant and at events as required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Greeting and seating customers, explaining the menu and taking orders

·       Confidently presenting dishes, talking about the provenance and sustainability of each ingredient, highlighting our seasonal and zero waste approach

·       Liaising with the kitchen, running orders to tables and taking payments.

·       Making and serving drinks, wine training can be provided

·       Setting, clearing and resetting tables and keeping all public areas clean and presentable

·       Creating a friendly, welcoming vibe for customers and team members

·       Working to maximise sales through upselling and excellent customer service

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

·       At least one year of experience in a front of house role, ideally with relevant experience e.g. fine dining, sustainable food, plant-based cuisine

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to host with charm and warmth

·       Basic barista and bar experience in serving wine, making cocktails and other refreshments, preferred but not essential as training can be provided

·       Commitment to our principles, which comes with a willingness to embed these throughout all your work and an eagerness to learn more about them

·       Able to legally work and live in the UK
